Blog #3- Meet Lily. Meet Kindness, Intelligence and Beauty. #maxxlife

This is a TJMaxx commercial. The intended for an audience of shoppers and future shoppers. It hopes to bring more shoppers to their stores. . They are working on peoples emotions by spotlighting the amazing story of Lily. They are saying that they are caring and have a soft side and they aren't all business. The commercial was using the tugging at heart strings to show what a great place they are by doing the spotlight. They used lots of colors, lots of real life stories. It is a very moving commercial.

Blog #2 A fun night out with friends.

This picture was taken on a night at out at the Dublin Pub. We went to watch a friends band play. This picture was posted and viewed by all our friends and families. Mandy and I took her four kids, my two kids and another friend, Tammy's daughter. We all had such a great time. I feel by changing the picture to black and white it would place a bigger focus on the kids and the owner, who are in the picture. The picture is already kind of dark, so I think it would lose it's fun characteristics. If I was to give the picture a name, I would name it "A fun night out with friends".  I don't think it would change the perception of the picture. The title says it all. All the kids get a long great. They had a lot of fun. Their picture was photobombed by the owner of the Dublin Pub.

What I think I do.....

The reason I chose the pictures I did was to point out the different perceptions that different people. Society feels that Respiratory Therapist only give breathing treatments. I have been asked a million times if I ever got tired of only given breathing treatments. Not all doctors think that we do nothing but sleep. We do have those doctors who don't think we know what we are doing, My kids act like I do nothing but hang out with my friends and have fun while I'm at work. They don't realize what I do. Some patients feel like they are our only patients in the hospital and that we sit around and wait for them to need their treatment. I feel that we all have the power to use our skills to help our patients breath better. The last slide is what we actually do as a Respiratory Therapist. It is a very rewarding profession.
